Karen Kolnes

Karen joined Millman Search Group in 2014 as an Executive Recruiter. Prior to joining the team she spent over 20 years in the fashion industry working for a variety of top companies including Louis Vuitton, Bergdorf Goodman and J. Crew. Her leadership roles included buying, management, human resources, merchandising and operations.

Her passion is connecting both with the client and candidate to form a long term partnership. She has a thorough understanding of the customer experience and her inquisitive nature and strong listening skills provide value in developing relationships.

Karen graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and received her BA in Marketing Management. She is also a graduate of The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and attended campuses in San Diego and San Francisco.

She is focused on giving back to the community through her partnership with San Diego Social Venture Partners where she spends time doing pro-bono consulting for nonprofits.
